“Great camp spot! Late night check in was easy and the spot well kept and ground was nice for larger tent.”
“Had an exceptional trip, with one teeny tiny hiccup. Booked two nights in a yurt with a private hot tub, and it was phenomenal. Beautiful scenery very private beautiful yurt. The shower had good water pressure, beautiful soft towels, very cozy bed. Electric fireplace, electric water kettle and microwave, little fridge, cups plates etc. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed to use the grill and the hot tub was amazing and so secluded. The sound of the rain on the roof, mixed with the view of the TV from the Hottub was spectacular. Would 10/10 stay here again. If I had any complaints about the Yurt at all, it would be that I found a necklace (not mine) near the base of the bed, which could have been an honest miss as everything else was amazingly clean, dusted and in tip top shape. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the shampoo/ Soap smell. But beggars can't be choosers. It's smelled fine on my partner. I just didn't love the scent. However, my less than five stars is NOT because of that. The loss of 2 stars in service is strictly because San Jose Island, and Friday Harbor are on the DOH list of places with sketchy tap water, and we were not informed to bring our own, or that it was recommended to boil the water. It was not a hard fix, ran to the big store the next morning and got a jug of water, it was just slightly inconvenient which could have been avoided if they had merely suggested to bring our own water. I ENJOY the taste of well water, I know, strange. However this did not taste like well water, it tasted bad. Like... tainted? Its hard to describe. But when I searched the area I saw the notice from the DOH and honestly feel like they have a responsibility to inform their guests. Once we had fresh water the rest of our trip and vacation was peaceful and so relaxing. Absolutely beautiful. Stay here!! But bring water.”
